Loving-Kindness Meditation

May I be happy.

May be healthy.

May I ride the waves of my life.

May I live in peace.

No matter what I am given.

Since I began practicing yoga only a couple of months ago, I have found this loving-kindness meditation compelling. 🧘‍♀️
As an (extreme)beginner😂, I felt a bit intimidated and definitely worried that I wouldn’t be able to “get it.” I quickly learned that the connection between mind and body and being completely present in the moment was most important for me.
You don’t have to practice yoga to meditate, but the practice of being mindful and taking some quiet time to connect with yourself inwardly is essential to your wellbeing.
Try it out! Find a quiet and comfy place to sit. Practice focusing on your breath and repeat this meditation to yourself. 🤩
